Meiltje De Groot, director of Groningen Airport Eelde was present at the hydrogen working visit in Madrid led by H.M. King Willem-Alexander together with Jonas van Dorp, manager Communication and Commerce on behalf of Groningen Airport Eelde / NXT Airport.
The theme of the visit was hydrogen as an important energy carrier in the energy system of the future. Several Dutch companies and knowledge institutions took part in the visit to further strengthen cooperation in the field of hydrogen.
Meiltje De Groot and Jonas van Dorp shared their experiences about the Hydrogen Valley Airport project and the H2-Ground Power Unit (H2-GPU) during the Forum European Hydrogen Valleys in Madrid. It was an honour to present together with Evrim Ursavas (University of Groningen), Marieke Abbink-Pellenbarg (New Energy Coalition), Helmie Botter (Gasunie) and Juriaan Kellermann (Fokker Next Gen) to our King and Rob Jetten, Minister for Climate and Energy!
