Last week, we welcomed the French ambassador Mr François Alabrune to the northern Netherlands. Ambassador Alabrune and his enthusiastic team visited the Netherlands Air and Space Centre, Gasunie, Forum Groningen and Groningen Airport Eelde.
The embassy team was welcomed by the mayor of Groningen, members of parliament, representatives of the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe, the University of Groningen and the business community such as ENGIE, RWE and Groningen Seaports.
Meiltje De Groot, CEO of Groningen Airport Eelde had the honour of receiving the ambassador at the airport.
There are many opportunities for more cooperation between France and the Northern Netherlands, including in the field of energy transition and more sustainable aviation!
